In 1861 was living with her parents and brothers Mark, Charles, George and William in Almondsbury Village ^[20]
Resided with her parents and siblings George, William, Alice and Emma in Village Street, Almondsbury in 1871 ^[20]
By 1881 was working as Lady's Maid for the Rev. James P. NASH and his wife Emily in Botley, Hampshire, England ^[20]
Married George Nicholas POOLE in 1882 in Gloucestershire, England ^[21]
In 1891 was living with her husband and their daughters Sarah and Edith in Elberton, Gloucestershire, England ^[20]
Her husband was a self-employed Grocer and Farmer in Elberton ^[20]
In 1901 was living in Elberton Village with her husband and their children Edith, Margaret, Thomas, Frank and William ^[20]
Departed London, England with husband and son Frank on the Orsova and arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia on 5 May 1925 ^[70]
On 1 August 1925 her husband, sons Thomas and Frank and her son-in-law Francis W. LONG purchased land in Winchester ^[27]
They purchased Lot M1580 of Victoria Location 2023, which was 1590 acres of virgin bush near Billeroo in East Winchester ^[27]
Resided on Elberton Farm in Winchester from 1925 to 1933 ^{[1] [7: pages 164-165]}
Mother of Sarah, Edith, Margaret, twins Thomas and Frank, and William ^[20]
Died from heart failure and asthma on 20 December 1933 in Winchester; buried Winchester Cemetery, Carnamah (Row B, Plot 9) ^[1]
Rev. A. W. CURTIS of Coorow officiated at her funeral, which was undertaken by Henry Parkin & Son of Carnamah ^[1]

Old Lady's Death at Winchester
"The death occurred suddenly at Winchester on Wednesday night of Mrs. Mary Poole, who was 77 years of age. Deceased has been residing for many years at her son's farm at Winchester. She was taken ill suddenly, and passed away before the arrival of Dr. Rosenthal, who had been summoned."

Funeral at Winchester
"The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Poole, of Winchester, took place at the Winchester Cemetery on Friday, December 22nd, the service at the graveside being conducted by the Rev. A. W. Curtis, of Coorow. The chief mourners were Mr. G. N. Poole (husband), Mr. and Mrs. Frank Poole (son and daughter-in-law), Mr. T. Poole (son), and Mrs. McKeown (daughter), the pall-bearers being Messrs J. Lawson, C. Nineham, W. Chapman and H. Fowler."

News and Notes
"The death occurred at her home at Winchester on Wednesday, December 20, of Mary Poole, aged 78. The deceased was the wife of Mr. G. N. Poole, and mother of Tom and Frank and of Mrs Keown (Perth). The funeral took place on Friday, December the 22nd, the Rev. A. W. Curtis officiating. The pall-bearers were Messrs. J. Lawson, C. Nineham, W. Chapman and H. Fowler. The late Mrs. Poole was a native of Alveston, Gloucestershire, and had lived there nearly all  her life. Her husband, Mr. G. N. Poole, came out to Australia from Alveston in 1876, and lived in South Australia for three or four years. He then returned to Alveston, and remained there farming for a long period, before coming out to Australia with the late Mrs. Poole to join their sons a few years ago. Mr. Poole had spent 61 years altogether in the village of Alveston."
